to Café Gamskar Our route takes us from the hotel up to the idyllic little village of Remsach. From the Evian spring at the beginning of the Nassfeld valley, which we comfortably reach by hotel bus (for more than 7 people, please follow us in convoy in private cars) and private cars, we hike along a gently rising path beside the Nassfeld stream to this beautifully situated alpine pasture. The hike is easy for everyone to manage, and taking a pushchair (preferably with rubber tyres) is also possible. Recommendation During the survival adventure in Dorfgastein, the children learn how to survive in the wild. From Unterberg, the group hikes along the exciting ‘Bear Trail’ to the Amoseralm, where a fire pit is set up. Simone shows the children how to light a fire using minimal resources. After we’ve had a hearty breakfast at the buffet, the hikers (good physical fitness required) lace up their boots and off we go: First, we’ll take the hotel bus (if there are more than 7 people, please follow us in a ‘convoy’ of private cars) to Sportgastein (small toll charge). From here, we’ll climb a winding, steeply ascending footpath up to the Lower Bockhartsee. Here, with due regard for nature, the reservoir has been skilfully integrated into the landscape, and we’ll enjoy a wonderful view of the lake. The path continues high above the left bank of the lake, leading us to the upper Bockhartsee, where we’ll take a brave dip in the refreshing water. After a leisurely ‘swim break’, we’ll descend to the Bockhartseehütte and stop for a cosy meal :) We’ll then tackle the final stretch, well fortified… Maximum number of participants: 15 people.
