In a quiet spot at the edge of the forest, around five metres above the ground, you’ll find the sun deck. A special place for open-air yoga. The view stretches from soft meadowland to the peaks of the Hohe Tauern National Park, while you move mindfully and arrive fully in the moment. Around 100 m² of peace, space and fresh perspective.

“Sonngastein Fit & Relax” relaxation room
The “Sonngastein Fit & Relax” relaxation room offers the perfect setting for your yoga practice. Take a mat, set up your equipment and practise at your own pace whenever you feel like it. As a yoga hotel in the Austrian Alps, we also offer guided classes as part of our weekly programme, helping you find more balance and inner calm.

Yoga, Pilates, stretching or legs-bums-tums: Sonngastein offers a varied selection of guided classes in the weekly programme. Experienced trainers support each guest individually – whether you are just starting out or already practise regularly. With Esther Alexandra Groiss, we are delighted to welcome an experienced yoga teacher and holistic guide to Sonngastein, who combines movement, breathing and mindfulness in a particularly sensitive and empathetic way. Her sessions are designed for guests who wish to unwind during their holiday, gather new energy and gently strengthen their body – regardless of yoga experience or fitness level.
Esther is a certified yoga, Pilates and fascia trainer, as well as a qualified nutrition, health and vitality coach. Her approach combines sound knowledge of the body with a deep sensitivity for greater balance, flexibility and inner calm.

Special programme highlights such as Yin Yoga, Yogalates, meridian stretching, Aqua Fascia Fit or mindful nature impulses bring body and mind into balance. This creates a soothing offer for everyone who wishes to enjoy their holiday in a consciously active, relaxed and holistic way.
