The highlight of the week is our festive New Year’s Eve celebration. After a special Gala Dinner, a varied programme awaits the whole family: entertainment and music, a New Year’s Eve quiz, cinema, traditional New Year’s customs and, of course, “Dinner for One”. At midnight, we welcome the New Year together and traditionally begin with the Viennese waltz, followed by a midnight snack before the celebrations and dancing continue into the early hours.
In between, there is an entire week to enjoy everything that makes a winter holiday at Sonngastein so special: skiing and winter adventures in the mountains, our varied weekly programme, plenty of space for children and teenagers, and relaxing moments in our thermal water and wellness area.
