Our indoor thermal pool is very inviting and is filled with the famous Gastein Thermal water. Swim in a comfortable water temperature of 30 degrees but when you’re ready for something more strenuous switch on the current to swim against.

Chatting pool

Right next to this pool: a circular outside warm pool, the “Chatting Pool”, equiped with massage jets and heated to 33 – 35 degree temperatures, plus the outsanding views of the Hohe Tauren National Park mountains. Relax your muscles as you chat to fellow guests and enjoy the water massages & springs – life can be so beautiful!

Classic pool

A few steps away is our “Classic Pool”: The outside quiet pool, with wonderful views and an inviting sun terrace, spoils you with its 33 – 35 degree water termperatures and relaxing underwater music: Immerse yourself in the relaxing water and enjoy the chrystal clear tones of classical music, Mozart, Vivaldi, Bach and other well known composers.
Our classic pool is for adults and teenagers over 15 years old only.

Thermal spas in Gastein

Gastein is also truly blessed with its water attractions: Three wonderful, large thermal spa complexes, fed by the 40 to 50 degree thermal springs of Bad Gastein ensure bathing fun for young and old alike. Visit the Felsen Baths, Alpine Thermal Baths and the Dorfgastein Solar Baths:

Gastein bathing lake

For nature lovers and bathing freaks we recommend the Gastein Badesee. Around 600 meters away from the hotel you will find the idyllic Gastein swimmming lake.  It takes around 8 minutes by bike on car-free pathways, and in summer you can enjoy the 22 –26 degree water temperatures of the lake with plenty of room for sun bathing and away from the crowds. Kids love the diving tower, parents love the Café with the sunny terrace. The entry prices are very reasonable but the views are breathtaking: The Gastein swimming lake is a special location in the sunny side of the valley.

Mountain lakes

Naturally, the many small streams and mountain lakes that you can find on the hiking routes are a little colder. During summer the chrystal clear, sparkling 13 – 18 degree water temperatures are quite inviting. Even if you only paddle your feet, it’s a lovely refreshing experience that you shouldn’t miss!
